TSAP’s Bylaws Revision Committee to discuss proposed revision to TSAP’s Bylaws in April Forum
For the first time in decades, TSAP will consider a revision to the TSAP Bylaws. This process will consider a complete rewrite of the Bylaws, as if they are brand new. Most years, a Board of Directors Bylaws Committee fields requests from members and officers for possible Bylaws amendments to make incremental changes. These are presented for individual consideration during the Annual Business Meeting. At the 2024 Business Meeting, a Special Committee, the Bylaws Revision Committee, was appointed to re-evaluate every provision of current Bylaws and recommend new rules and wordings to create a completely revised set of Bylaws.
During the 2025 Annual Convention business meeting, each paragraph will be read and discussed, with possibility of amendments throughout. Individual changes are approved, the Bylaws will be voted on together.
To help members learn what changes are proposed, the Bylaws Revision Committee will present the complete reading with discussion to members during a TSAP Bylaws Forum to be held instead of our April ParliThursday workshop. This will allow members to learn what changes are made and how this approval process will work during Annual Business meeting.
