Dedicated to Your Success

It is with great humility and honor that I stand before you tonight. The Texas Association of Parliamentarians is built on the shoulders of the people that have come before us. I want to thank Sheryl Womble, PRP, and all the past presidents of TSAP that have giving us the solid foundation that we have today. I wish to thank all the volunteers of TSAP, past and present that have also delivered us to this point in history.

I, also, want to thank my REALTOR® family for giving me the time and opportunity to serve you. I am here to represent you, not myself or any one person’s agenda.

My theme this year is; “Dedicated to Your Success”. In my humble opinion that is the reason why TSAP exists, to benefit you the member and ensure your survival and success within the world of Parliamentarians. If the individual member receives value from their membership, we have done our jobs. I also believe in our stated objective; “to support the purposes and programs of NAP; promote the philosophy and principles underlying the rules of deliberative assemblies through the study, teaching, and dissemination of parliamentary law and procedure; advocate and encourage continuing education, maximum proficiency in parliamentary skills, and closer communication and cooperation among parliamentarians throughout Texas.

TSAP is a Professional Organization and should conduct itself accordingly. I need your help. I have found that in my 44 years of association management that one person cannot bring forth the goals and objectives of any organization. It takes you, the member to make it work. TSAP in and of itself can do nothing. It takes volunteers. Please volunteer to serve on committees and help your elected officers make TSAP the best it can be and making each and every member a success.

I pledge and promise each of you to give my best to serve you all to the best of my ability.
